Meet Our Founder
Irene Pregl, the sole Owner and Operator of St. Croix Valley Guardians, LLC, brings over 30 years of expansive expertise and dedication working with all ages of individuals with disabilities in the arena of Home Health Care. Her devotion and commitment to social work and human services has set her apart in her field. Working as an Assisted Living Director she has dedicated her life to serving countless individuals and families.
Irene holds a Masters of Arts Degree focused in Social Work from the University of Minnesota, as well as, a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin River Falls . Irene also holds a certificate of successful completion for Wisconsin Guardianship Training through the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Professionally Irene has an entrepreneurial spirit, is innovative and dedicated to problem solving.
She is excited to take her vast expertise and love of helping others in need and take it to the next level with Guardianship/Conservatorship Services. Irene has experience working as a rep payee pro bono for several individuals over the years. She has worked on interdisciplinary teams with other appointed guardians to ensure the client is given the best care possible. She has been involved in housing, health care decisions, funeral arrangements, financial review and budgeting for clients. Irene’s approach is a teamwork based making sure the client is as involved as possible in the decision making process. Irene has broad experience and knowledge of the services available in Wisconsin and Minnesota, which will provide years of resources for individuals and families.
As Owner and Operator of St. Croix Valley Guardians, LLC, she will employ persons who are interested in co-guardianship with independent decision making in order to provide full service options. She is very excited to bring her knowledge, expertise and services to the St. Croix River Valley Area.
